The Kingdom Harvest Foundation was established to serve the public interest by contributing to a sustainable and animal-friendly agricultural sector. The foundation focuses on promoting research, knowledge development, and the application of innovative methods that contribute to animal health, food quality, and responsible treatment of nature and the environment.
The foundation’s mission is to set an example in the agricultural sector by demonstrating that sustainable, healthy, and animal-friendly business practices are not only possible but also contribute to higher-quality food products and broad social support for agriculture and nature conservation.

The institution’s assets are managed by the treasurer, who is appointed by the board of directors and audited by the accountant. The foundation is a non-profit organization.

Activities will begin immediately after the foundation’s establishment and will initially focus on practical research and knowledge exchange in the field of animal welfare (horn preservation, heat stress). Later, the projects will be expanded to include the sustainability of the entire agricultural chain.
The board members are primarily the founders of the institution. The institution has articles of association that govern the functioning of the institution and the board members. The articles of association are laid down in a notarial deed.
The directors of the foundation do not receive any remuneration. Expenses incurred may be reimbursed. Expenses incurred by the board and volunteers will be reimbursed to the extent that this is reasonable and can be justified by them. The foundation does not provide any financial compensation for volunteer hours.
